Sunday 9th February.
Walk in the morning and met up with Nat the Chinese for a coffee. Hot in the sun.
Another walk in the afternoon. I’m not finding it difficult to keep up my regime of 2 walks daily and am sure that I feel much better for it.
Monday 10th February.
Walk in the morning.
Canasta pm. Played with Margaret (Javea) against Margaret (Somerset) and Phil. Three good close games, we won by a whisker!.
Tuesday 11th February.
Walk am.
N and I walked up to El Martillo for fortnightly Scrabble afternoon. Sheran stayed for the first half then she left and Carolyn came.
Wednesday 12th February.
Walk am.
Ladies lunch at 1.30 at the Premium plus restaurant. Good meal and good company.
Thursday 13th.
A day with no social engagements! So, just walking and chilling.
Friday 14th February. Valentine’s Day!
Went to market and had a wander round on my own, bought a couple of tops and a pair of summer trousers.
Met up with N and he presented me with some flowers!
Late pm we went to the gelateria and then to the Chinese just for drinks. It had been a beautiful day and we sat and watched the sun go down before strolling back home.
Saturday 15th February.
Spanish conversation group as usual on a Saturday morning. More people there and we split up into smaller groups and did a lot of useful conversation. I am definitely improving and learning more vocabulary. Some of the sessions are more English than Spanish but today was the opposite.
Our friends, Sue and Jo, from France arrived in Moraira yesterday. Their friend Malcolm arrived this morning and they are staying a few miles out of the town up the hill. We met up with them for fish and chips at Fishy Fishy. Good to see them again and to catch up over a good meal.
